Regina asks me if I wanted to go to a festival, called the "Mooncake festival" located in the Buddhist shrine. She also wanted to invite Enthel to join, but I told them that she's with her BIPA friends going to the same festival but in a different time. I remember her saying that she will try to join if she can. It is 7:00PM in the evening as I ride a Gojek motorcycle to go to the festival. When we arrived, the street is filled with people going in and out of this "palace." The view is magnificent! With the atmosphere filled with colorful lanterns.

Inside the Mooncake Festival

At the center is a sort of "palace" that according to Regina is where Buddhist people pray, and at the front side is a huge giant buddha that you can go to. When we arrived, we first go to the food place to eat some dinner, but the place is filled with a lot of people and all of the sits are taken, so we decided to stay outside and wait for other of our friends to arrive. While waiting, we took a lot of photos near the main entrance of the palace. We saw a dragon, and some familiar faces as well as the new BIPA student from Thailand and Palestine. It is a lively event, sadly, I wasn't able to purchase some mooncake to bring home. When Dinda and Bonita arrived, we took some more group photos before leaving the event and going to a nearby cafe to eat as some of them are very hungry.
